Malala's Story

Malala Yousafzai is a Nobel Peace Prize laureate from Pakistan who became known in the late 2000s and early 2010s for her speeches on girl's rights and education in Taliban-occupied Pakistan, which she started doing at age 11. When she was 15, Malala was shot on a schoolbus by Taliban men. Since then she has become an international speaker on women's rights and education.
